Phone Calls

We begin answering phones each morning at 8:00 AM to make and change appointments. The nursing staff is available for inquiries regarding weight checks, laboratory work, immunizations, and allergy injections beginning at 8:30 AM. We encourage routine calls to be made during regular office hours because your child’s records are available to us. Please be prepared to give your name, telephone number, the child's name and a brief summary of the problem or concern.

After regular office hours, on weekends, and during holidays, we have a twenty-four hour answering service. Please be advised that for life threatening emergencies, a parent should immediately dial 911.

For emergent care between 5:00 PM and 8:00 AM, please call our main office number (816) 373-1111 where you will be directed to our answering service. Our goal is to make you feel comfortable with your child's well being at all times. We do however request that you limit your after hour calls to true emergent care calls.
